The albums section of you phot gallery will help you choose the album where the photo you want to move currently resides. If you move a photo that was included as part of a post it will be removed from its original post.

How to move pictures from photos to album. Scroll down and tap an album. Select all the images youd like to transfer. In my case I am moving an image out of the Camelback Mountain album and back into the Iceland 2019 album.

Click on the drop-down box to select another album. In the Photos app on your Mac select the photos video clips or Live Photos you want. Click Transfer a Copy of Your Photos or Videos.
